Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption and usage and ultimately guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
• Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks
• When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
• Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy
• Understand and show guests how to use the features and offerings within the Target App including Wallet
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering, and know how to direct the guest to enroll, activate and use these features
• Assist with returns by following register prompts; partner with Leaders as needed to help solve for the guest while following Target’s policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area by gathering unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers for removal
• Stock supplies during store open hours while being available for the guest
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work in a safe manner at all times
• Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) Orders, and related returns while complying with applicable laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• You enjoy interacting and helping others – including guests and fellow team members
• You thrive in a fast-moving, highly active and physically demanding role, where teamwork, flexibility, and problem solving are key
• You are open to a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and peak times)
• Strong communication skills and a welcoming, helpful attitude toward guests and team members
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Willing to educate guests about products and services and engage around them
• Ability to use multiple devices and handheld scanners and other technology as directed
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
