Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and certain certifications required.
Your RoleAs a Make Ready/Punch Tech you work closely with the Community Service Manager in completing tasks that ensure the community meets safety, appearance, and operational standards. Responsibilities include interior painting, maintenance service, troubleshooting, and repair while meeting quality and time standards.
Key Responsibilities- Complete assigned maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.
- Respond quickly and courteously to resident requests.
- Perform interior painting and finish work to high quality.
- Use hand tools and test equipment to identify issues.
- Assist with HVAC, carpentry, drywall, appliance, plumbing, and electrical repairs as needed.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
- 1–3 years maintenance experience; apartment maintenance preferred.
- Experience as an in‑house painter, residential or apartment sector.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of HVAC, carpentry, drywall, appliances, plumbing, and electrical repair.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Basic budgeting/business finance skills helpful.
- Refrigeration certification (Type 2 or Universal) or obtain within 90 days.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
- CPO Certification if required in state/location.
- Use various hand tools and test equipment.
- Bend, stoop, kneel for extended periods.
- Push/pull up to 300 lb on wheels.
- Lift up to 100 lb.
- Climb ladders up to 40 ft.
- Operate hand‑truck.
