PIMS is pleased to announce position openings for Journeymen Industrial Electricians. This position requires 5 to 10 year experience with construction of an industrial site. We are considering all level of electrical technician expertise, from lead to apprentice roles are sought after.
This position will be a remote position, working 2 shifts, 24/7 operations. At this time, we are looking at working 12 days on with one day off. This will be based on the progressing completion status of the project.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for an Industrial Electrician based in Texas. The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for performing journeyman levels of electrical construction services, troubleshooting newly installed electrical systems, and ensuring the reliability and continuity of the constructed system.
The position will require the knowledge to set operational equipment, provide support to tie into main power distribution connections, prepare above ground and underground facilities to route up to 750
MCM size cable, provide technical expertise to properly connect and torque cables for electrical power distribution systems.
- Proficiency in electricity, electrical wiring, and understanding of electrical code and standards
- Experience with maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance for electrical systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues in electrical systems
- Ability to work on-site in an industrial setting with a focus on safety and quality of work
- Relevant certifications or licensure in electrical systems is a plus
- Understanding of process instrumentation and control systems is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical documentation
- Effective communication skills and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment
We are paying a competitive hourly rate with per diem for construction electricians. Per Diem is available for those technical resources coming from other areas to support this project. The hourly rate will be adjusted for local technical resources, to compensate for per diem.
The hourly pay range is from $25 to $52 per hour and 1.5 times the hourly rate for overtime. Overtime is built into the schedule.
