** As a valued Lifestyle Carer at Mary Andrews Village in South Hurstville, you will design and deliver engaging lifestyle programs that promote social interaction, emotional wellbeing, and a sense of purpose for our residents. This is a part-time position, working 13.5 hours per week, giving you the flexibility to make a meaningful impact while maintaining work-life balance.
** With kindness and creativity, you will:
*** Facilitate group and individual activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities
* Support residents in maintaining independence and dignity through meaningful engagement
* Collaborate with care teams to integrate lifestyle support into holistic care plans
* Encourage participation and build strong relationships with residents and families
** What you’ll bring
*** You are a warm, empathetic and creative individual who is passionate about enhancing the lives of older people. You share our values of integrity, justice, compassion and excellence.
** To thrive in this role, you will need:
*** Certificate IV in Leisure and Health, or Bachelors or Diploma in Health Science or Community Services
* Experience in planning and delivering lifestyle or recreational activities
* Current First Aid and CPR certification
* Valid NSW Driver’s Licence (preferred)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)

*** Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A positive, team-oriented attitude
* Ability to adapt activities to meet diverse needs and preferences
