Job Title: Civil Engineer / Data Center Engineer

Location: Joint Fort Andrews, MD

Contract Duration: Estimated 36-48+ month contract

Contract Rate: $75.00 - $85.00/hr on W2

• Secret Clearance (Eligible)
• Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years in Civil Engineering and equivalent experience in data center or mission‑critical facilities design
• Experience managing hardware configuration baselines
• Experience with Data Center Strategy, Planning, and Roadmap maintenance
• Proficiency in building codes, regulations, and standards

• Evaluate existing infrastructure and recommend growth or upgrading actions for supporting devices
• Identify and correct operational issues to optimize future building improvements
• Coordinate logistics and meet with stakeholders to understand requirements on the milcon side
• Align data requirements with existing deliverables, identify gaps, and update designs as needed
• Lead and assist with design aspects of the CCC data center support systems including AC/DC power, UPS, HVAC, carrier infrastructures, cable plant, and overall layout
• Produce architectural artifacts such as system design diagrams, recommendation justifications, and technical specifications
• Communicate conceptual designs and maintain project documentation through all project phases
• Create and review civil/structural/architectural design RFPs
• Conduct site assessments, internal design meetings, and construction reviews
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define processes and standards governing data center activities
• Coordinate and control access and logistical support
• Follow data center procedures and processes
• Manage installation and maintenance of data center equipment
• Ensure compliance with data center security protocols
