Work ScheduleWork schedule May 23, 2026 – August 30, 2026. Pool is open 7 days a week, 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Day, evening, and weekend work will be required; hours will vary. Pre-season training will be required, determined after hiring. Accepting applications until positions are filled.
Summary of PositionUnder the supervision of the Recreation Manager, Assistant Manager, or Pool Lead, you may be assigned to prepare and serve food, operate a cash register, or work outside and provide guidance on the slide. You will provide pleasant and approachable customer service, maintain a clean facility, and operate a cash register in either the concessions or the front desk areas. This is an entry level position requiring initiative and a hard work ethic.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provide pleasant, proactive and approachable customer service to patrons
- Prepare and serve concession foods
- Operate cash register in either concessions or at the front desk
- Provide guidance to customers on the slide
- Maintain a clean and pleasant environment
- Workdays, evenings, and weekends
- You must be 15 or older by the time you start employment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills
- Experience in concession food service or related field.
- Experience in cash handling and cash register operations or aptitude for the same.
Cashier/Concessions:
Start $13.00. After 1 year $14.00. After 2 years $15.00. Pool Lead (Cashier Leads or Lifeguard Leads): add $1.00/hour. This will be submitted by Public Services to Payroll at the time of payroll entry.
March 13, 2026 (1st (2nd Deadline). Will remain open until filled. As they come in, applications are reviewed. Weekly interviews are scheduled and conducted. As interviewed, offers are made to candidates. Some staff may start by 05/04/2026 and pool opens 05/23/2026. Goal start date for candidates.
