** Position Description
** The Sheriff’s Office End User Support Specialists Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of a technical support team responsible for evaluating, researching, and implementing computer hardware, applications, peripherals, mobile devices and connected end user systems for Anoka County Sheriff’s Office. This position is a hands-on Supervisor that works on issues along with the team where analysis of technology situations or data requires review of relevant factors and is responsible for coaching team members on effective methods to research, troubleshoot, and deliver end user technologies and solutions.

This is a full-time, exempt,
** on-site
** position located at the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office Administration Building, located at 13301 Hanson Blvd. NW Andover, MN 55304. The role includes occasional travel to Anoka County Jail, located at 325 Jackson Street Anoka, Minnesota, 55303, as well as to other Sheriff’s Office substations within Anoka County. Interviews will take place the week of March 16th, 2026, for those selected to move forward in the hiring process.
** Pay & Benefits
*** Salary: $85,363 to $102,440 ($41.04 to $49.25 per hour).
* Anoka County Salary Schedule Grade 36: $85,363.20 to $ ($41.04 to $57.45 per hour).

* General business hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
** Job Duties and Responsibilities*
* * These examples are not all inclusive and are intended to be illustrative of primary responsibilities of an Anoka County Supervisor, End User Support Specialists.
** Supervise and coordinate activities of End User Support Specialists engaged in assisting Windows computer users with hardware and software questions and problems, fielding telephone calls and email messages from employees seeking guidance on technical problems, diagnosing nature of problems, and assisting employees through problem solving steps.
* Train team on the systems, processes, tools, and procedures required to document, track and resolve reported problems.
* Ensure the latest product and technical updates or policies are available and installed on the systems.
* Participate in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving information systems problems to minimize down time of applications and personnel.
* Monitor incident and request queue and track key metrics to ensure sufficient coverage and achievement of service standards.
* Act as the escalation point for critical issues and facilitate a final resolution.
* Ensure proper documentation related to the systems or workstations is maintained.
* Design and deliver end user training on the Windows based systems, processes, tools, and procedures and iOS cell phones
* Provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group of 2-3 End User Support Specialists.
* Participate in 3 person on-call after hours support rotation.
