Controller, Finance & Banking, Financial Manager

The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the location’s financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and compliance. This role ensures accurate and timely financial statements, maintains strong internal controls, and provides strategic financial insights to support business decisions. The Controller leads the local finance team, manages audits, and drives continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

Salary Range: $150-170K DOE

• Oversee daily accounting operations including General Ledger, AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, cost accounting, and inventory management
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS
• Lead annual budgeting process, manage weekly/monthly forecasts, and analyze key variances
• Monitor manufacturing and inventory costs, margins, and operating expenses; provide actionable profitability insights
• Implement and maintain standard costing processes aligned with GAAP/IFRS inventory valuation
• Support FP&A margin analysis and operational dashboard KPI reporting
• Maintain and strengthen internal control environment and ensure compliance with company policies
• Manage 13-week cash flow forecasting and monitor working capital performance
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies
• Drive process improvements and optimize ERP/reporting systems (Sage, Power BI, etc.)
• Lead, mentor, and develop the local finance team; foster accountability and continuous improvement
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and facility safety protocols

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA preferred
• 6–9+ years of progressive finance/accounting leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong background in cost accounting and cost-volume-variance analysis
• Expertise in financial close processes, budgeting, and forecasting
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Sage preferred) and advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities
