Teacher's Aide - Andover, Minnesota

This position is a paraprofessional role supporting middle school students in a contract position through the end of the current school year. The role is based in the northern part of a large school district at a middle school located in Minneapolis, MN.

Location:
11301 Dogwood St NW, Minneapolis, MN 55448

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM (including a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
• 32.5 hours per week

Contract Duration:
February 17, 2026 - June 5, 2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers by providing direct support to middle school students
• Help implement educational plans and support inclusive learning environments
• Work collaboratively with educators and staff to meet student needs
• Support classroom management and organization to enhance student engagement

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must be highly qualified before placement through one of the following methods:

• Successfully passing the Minnesota Board Highly Qualified Para Educator Exam OR
• Possessing at least 60 college credits (official transcripts must be provided; diplomas or certificates are not accepted)

Additional Considerations:

• Candidates should be comfortable with the location of the assignment.
• After 120 days, the candidate is expected to transition to direct hire employment with the school district.
