What you will do
  • Inspect product to be complaint IPC/WHMA-A-620, JSTD-001, and MIL-HDBK-454
  • Non-conform and disposition non-conforming material on the floor
  • Perform шықәсаwalk‑back feedback to assemblers and inspectors when findings occur to reduce recurrence of escapes
  • Participate in MFG DPT (Defect Prevention Team) meetings to ensure alignment on top priorities (using baseline data and future forecast) to drive containment, Root Cause Analysis and associated Corrective Action Implementation
  • Perform process audits, process walks, operator observations, and participate in MFG team discussions to drive process enhancements to reduce variation
  • Identify supplier 수 escapes/issues and ensure proper containment and backflow to the Supplier Quality Management team
  • Perform verification and validation of improvements to understand effectiveness
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires an AAA/AS degree (or other 2‑year post‑high‑school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience
  • Manufacturing process experience (assembly, inspection, test)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience with IPC/WHMA‑A‑620, JSTD‑001, and MIL‑HDBK‑454
  • Strong familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality management systems
  • Six Sigma, ASQ Certifications
  • Proficient in the use of pareto analysis, cause‑effect diagrams, process mapping
  • Able to facilitate cross‑functional teams in systematic improvement activities (e.g. 6‑sigma, lean manufacturing)

The salary range for this role is 60,000 USD – 114,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good‑faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
