Raytheon has an opportunity to join the Patriot Missile Factory team. This position has overall leadership of the sub-assembly area, supporting high profile Patriot Missile program.  As the Value Stream Lead your responsibilities include full management accountability regarding the performance on all aspects of safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance for the multi-cell/multi-shift operation. The Value Stream Lead will be responsible for setting the standard and driving operational excellence throughout the organization with a focus on improving on-time delivery and reducing overall cycle time.  

This position requires an independent, self-motivated leader, that can drive the organization to meet goals and objectives consistently.

This key role requires daily interaction with other functions to maintain and meet organizational goals. These groups include technical support, manufacturing/test/design engineering, maintenance, production control, and finance. Achieving/exceeding safety, quality, delivery, cost goals and identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using CORE, six sigma, and lean methodologies are critical performance criteria for this position.
** What You Will Do
*** Overall execution to delivery commitments.
* Supports deployment of manufacturing operations strategy, control systems, tools and metrics to accurately measure progress and drive continuous improvement in a safe environment.
* Unit hour performance.
* Support staffing budget oversight, workforce forecasting and planning and area layout and flow management.
* Capital identification and control of overhead expenses.
* Ensuring full compliance of company policies and procedures.
** Qualifications You Must Have
*** Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
* Experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Production, Supply Chain, Quality and/or Engineering is required.
** Qualifications We Prefer
*** Strong management skills including the ability to make decisions with minimal supervision, goal setting, delegation, coaching, and motivating
* Manufacturing or industrial engineering and supervisory experience in the aerospace/defense industry
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills
* Solid interpersonal skills to manage tasks that bridge operations, production control, engineering, supply chain, and customer relations
* High computer literacy and with confidence and skill working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and familiarity with Raytheon systems (PRISM, PDM, VBS)
