The Scrum Master/Agile Coach is a Hybrid position located in Andover, Massachusetts.
The Scrum Master/Agile Coach will support multiple development teams in the efficient implementation of projects using agile principles. It empowers teams to self‑organization, guide continuous improvement, and helps remove obstacles that impede the teams' work. This position works closely with the Software Project Manager, Product Owner Team (usually Project Manager, Product Owner, System Engineer), team leaders, and functional management.
- Enable multiple development teams
Neighboury to deliver predictable and quality outcomes by coaching and establishing agile principles. Support the teams in defining clear sprint goals, performing realistic planning, and demonstrating visible progress. Foster accountability for generating results. - Act as a role model, nurture team self‑management. Enable teams to define and own their process and working agreements (e.g., Definition of Ready, Definition of Done, Quality Gates). Improve team engagement to foster healthy dynamics.
- Remove impediments and unforeseen dependencies. Improve flow for higher throughput and predictability. Anticipate issues and create prompt escalations as needed to avoid inefficiency.
- Promote a culture of delivering results by creating an environment where teams achieve the best possible work outcomes.
- Support stakeholders in adapting to the teams' working mode.
- Work closely with Product Owner Team to ensure effective product backlog management and maintenance.
- Partner with the Software Project Manager(s), team leaders, and functional managers to create conditions and development opportunities for the team.
- Promote continuous improvements of the ways of working and continuous learning. Foster knowledge exchange within the teams across the organization, and a culture of feedback.
- Facilitate software development ceremonies effectively (plannings, daily stand‑ups, reviews, retrospectives, support refinements/backlog grooming).
- Align with global peers on modern, agile working methods, and Draeger best practices.
- Performs other duties as needed and assigned.
- Bachelor's degree required (Computer Science UCLA Engineering).
- Master's degree a plus.
- Training as a Scrum Master/Agile Coach preferred.
- 3-5 Years relevant experience in practicing agile ways of working (in complex development projects).
- Experience in introducing (new) agile principles/methods for teams.
- Experience leading teams in a global environment.
- Solid understanding of project management fundamentals.
- Technical knowledge of software development and agile methodologies.
- Skilled in collaborating with on‑site and remote teams (internal and contracted resources).
- Strong skills in facilitation, coaching, mentoring, and communication (written, verbal, presentation).
- Ability to focus on details, recall/retain information, identify dependencies.
- Ability to recognize, manage, and resolve conflict.

The targeted pay range for this position is typically between $106,000 - $127,200. The base pay offered is based on market location and may vary further depending on individualized factors for candidates.
