WhatYou Will Do
- Provide Linux systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
- Work as a team member in a fast‑paced technological environment and use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity, including integration of hardware and operating systems.
- Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
- Work with cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
- Provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures.
- Maintain 24x7 system operations, including occasional work beyond standard hours.
- Obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within six months of start date.
- Travel to other U.S. domestic locations as business needs dictate (up to 5 % of time per year).
- Full‑time 100 % onsite position in Andover, MA.
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 + years of relevant prior experience.
- Active U.S. government‑issued secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience with installation, configuration, and administration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems.
- Experience with data RAID, backup technologies, and storage solutions.
- DoDD 8140 / 8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) and an operating system certification.
- Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF.
- Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies.
- Experience with IT project lifecycle management processes.
- Experience using VMware vCenter, vSphere, ESXi, or other virtual computing methods.
- Support experience for engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.
- High‑performance computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment.
- Linux Ansible/scripting experience.

Salary Range: 68,900 USD – 131,100 USD.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, workplace schedule flexibility, employee assistance program, Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, holidays, and incentive compensation programs where applicable.
