Raytheon is hiring for a Semiconductor Equipment Engineer assigned to the 3rd shift with the hours of 9:00 pm–6:30 am Monday‑Friday. The ideal candidate will be a support equipment engineer in photolithography, metrology, and backside work‑center toolsets and will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment. The role requires maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of semiconductor processing equipment within the clean‑room environment, including various OEM resist tracks and ASML steppers, microscopes, SRD, and ovens.
Future expansion to support a wider range of equipment is expected.
- Document equipment‑related issues.
- Diagnose system issues based on experience and technical manuals.
- Quickly tire down equipment and make repairs based on urgency.
- Provide support to the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
- University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree and 3 years of experience.
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and/or repairing semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Familiarity with SEMI 10 semiconductor standards.
- Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and schematics.
- Fundamental understanding of SPC controls with the ability to implement SPC control plans on existing and new equipment.
- Documentation of work and detailed hand‑offs.
- Documentation of preventive maintenance work instructions.
- Experience with predictive maintenance and SPC controls using FDC software.
- Hands‑on experience as an Equipment Maintenance Technician/Engineer in semiconductor or military equipment.
- Self‑starter able to work independently and lead a team.
- Ability to pull and analyze tool data.
- Proficiency in MS Office products.
