Senior Electrical Engineer (PCB Designer)

Posted 2 days ago. Seeking an experienced engineer to support and lead PCB design projects, mentor junior staff, and provide R&D support for new and legacy products.

• Lead 1 or more PCB design projects, using Cadence Allegro (other design tools acceptable).
• Design and release schematics, parts lists, BOM structures for new/legacy products.
• Prepare and maintain documentation in Windchill PDM (schematics, Gerber files, etc.).
• Resolve design vs fabrication differences; modify design or coordinate with vendors.
• Attend engineering change order meetings and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, purchasing and project management.
• Work independently, suggest innovative solutions and streamline processes.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

• 8‑10 years experience in analog/digital circuits, power electronics.
• Strong CAD skills in PCB design and release in PDM.
• Experience qualifying components (IGBTs, magnetics, thyristors, AC/DC capacitors, fans).
• Knowledge of test equipment (CRO, AC/DC sources, multimeters, data loggers).
• Ability to meet electrical, EMC, safety, mechanical, thermal and DFA/DFM requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting and independent testing skills.
• Experience with PLM tools (Allegro, Windchill PDM).
• Cross‑functional collaboration with Mechanical, Manufacturing, Project management.
• Detail oriented, following procedures and completing tasks.

• 4‑year bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Knowledge of Ladder Logic GE Proficy Software or Modicon Control Expert Software is a plus.
