Senior Electrical Engineer
Temporary support only to year end. Hybrid schedule, Monday/Thursday office presence (potentially) 8am‑5pm hours. Provide engineering‑level support on assigned and unassigned projects throughout the lifecycle of new and legacy products.
Responsibilities- Work within a global collaborative R&D team to create and improve printed circuit board designs using Cadence design systems (Allegro).
- Release projects to manufacturing by creating schematic design capture, new part numbers, detailed descriptions, and printed board assemblies (BOM structures) for new and legacy products.
- Store fabrication documentation, schematics, gerber files, etc., in the Windchill PDM application.
- Resolve differences between design and fabrication requirements by determining whether to modify designs or send parts back to vendors.
- Attend regular team meetings, including engineering change order meetings in support of manufacturing & quality assurance analysis and correction of manufacturing defects.
- Collaborate with engineering resources, project management, purchasing, etc., and apply core engineering concepts to solve complex, unfamiliar, and novel problems.
- Work with minimal assistance, suggesting innovative solutions from streamlining processes to completing a backlog of tasks.
- Maintain product and company reputation by complying with applicable regulations and standards.
- Good understanding of control electronic products, specifically analog and digital circuits, and power electronics circuits with 5+ years of experience.
- Lead PCB specs release in qualification and in PDM.
- Support qualification of electronic components such as IGBTs, magnetics, thyristors, AC/DC capacitors, fans, etc.
- Knowledge of test equipment: CRO, AC source, DC source, auto transformers, multimeters, data loggers.
- Design and implement PCB designs that meet electrical, EMC, safety, mechanical, thermal and DFA/DFM requirements of the system.
- Run independent tests with good knowledge of basic troubleshooting of products.
- Generate alternate solutions during feasibility studies during PCB modifications.
- Prior experience with design packages and product lifecycle management (PLM) tools (Allegro and Windchill PDM or similar).
- Work cross‑functionally with mechanical engineering, manufacturing/industrial engineering, project management.
- Detail oriented: accurately follow precise procedures and thoroughly complete assigned tasks with strong follow‑up skills.
- 4‑year bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering.
- Knowledge of ladder logic GE Proficy software or Modicon Control Expert software is ideal.
- Proficient computer skills: MS Teams, MS Word, MS Excel and MS Access.
- Effective communication with all levels of management in verbal and written form.
- Good problem‑solving skills.

Salary: $50,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
