Avionics Circuit Design Engineer
Join Our Team as an Avionics Circuit Design Engineer where you will work on the development of a sophisticated state‑of‑the‑art avionics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment.
Location: This position does not support teleworking. The preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Cambridge, MA and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full‑time.
What does this role look like? As a Circuit Design Engineer, you will work on the development of a sophisticated state‑of‑the‑art Avionics product at a key supplier site in Cambridge, MA.
Key Activities- Design/Capture electrical schematics and guide board layouts.
- Perform electrical Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.
- Collaborate with a cross‑functional team in the development and integration of world class avionics systems.
- Resolve test anomalies, troubleshoot, and support system level testing.
- Experience supporting technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
- Experience in different phases of aerospace hardware development cycle.
- Experience interacting with peers, management and government customers.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentations.
- Missile design experience.
- 8+ years professional experience.
- U.S. citizenship required;
Secret clearance to be obtained and maintained.
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in electronics design, with focus on Circuit/Component analysis.
- Experience as a technical lead or responsible engineer.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience leading teams through complex engineering and programmatic challenges.
- Experience on Space and/or Missile Defense missions.
- Experience collaborating with suppliers in joint development efforts.
- Expertise in schematic capture using Zuken or similar tools.
- Proficiency with PSPICE, Saber or other electronics simulation tools.
- Performing electronics analysis:
Worst Case Analysis, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Critical Analysis. - Strong communication and presentation skills for dealing with peers, management, subcontractors and customers.
- Team collaboration, consensus building, problem solving and conflict resolution.
- Adaptability and self‑initiative in solving complex problems.
- Effective work in diverse teams.
Secret clearance required. U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

Work Schedule:
9x80 (every other Friday off). Pay range: $139,600 – $246,100 (location dependent).
