CLA is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our CAAS (Nonprofit Industry) group
. This is your chance to make a significant impact in our Massachusetts office.
- Provide exceptional client service by understanding each client's operations. Manage multiple clients and their accounting needs effectively.
- Lead daily transactions, including accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll posting/recording.
- Coordinate and review month-end processes, including account reconciliations and financial statements. Create clear documentation for processes and procedures.
- Handle quarterly and annual tasks such as preparing sales tax returns, Form 1099s, and audit-related documentation.
- Supervise and ensure the quality of workflow produced by Associates and Analysts.
- Participate in special projects related to internal audits, due diligence, and system selections.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting or financial experience is required.
- A Bachelor's degree is required, but a combination of experience, education, and training may be considered.

.
