Electrician

Our client, based in Andover, are currently recruiting for an Electrician on a 6-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is up to £32.00 per hour via an Umbrella Company.

The ideal candidate will hold both his 2391 and 18th edition qualifications and hold a full UK driving license.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Carrying out fault finding on single and three-phase electrical installations
• Conducting electrical testing and inspections, including Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
• Completing electrical installation certificates, including minor works, and preparing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
• Replacing and installing showers, and wiring/installing domestic heating controls
• Replacing immersion elements, including draining down cylinders
• Installing and replacing electric heating systems

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing
• Experience working with customers within housing

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week
• Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
