Electrical Supervisor

Ideal candidates will be based in or around Basingstoke, Andover, or Winchester, with travel to sites as required.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead and manage a team of electricians across multiple sites. The role combines hands‑on electrical expertise with strong leadership, planning, and coordination skills. You will work closely with management, commercial, and health & safety teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

• Act as the lead electrician for an existing team, providing day‑to‑day supervision and technical guidance
• Liaise daily with the Manager to coordinate labour requirements for upcoming works
• Plan and organise weekly works programmes in conjunction with the Manager
• Review the standard and quality of electrical installations, ensuring works meet company standards and project deadlines
• Make and receive calls to resolve site‑based issues relating to electrical installations
• Liaise with the Quantity Surveyor to ensure all work record sheets are completed accurately for monthly invoicing
• Work closely with the Health & Safety Department to produce and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
• Provide hands‑on support as a fallback electrician when labour cannot be arranged, including covering breakdowns on sites
• Ensure effective communication between site teams, management, and support departments

• Fully qualified Gold Card (JIB) Electrician
• Testing & Inspection qualification - City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a supervisory or lead electrician role
• Strong understanding of electrical standards, compliance, and best practice
• Experience coordinating labour and managing site resources
