Sales Specialist – Business Development

Salary: £40-50K Base. £85k OTE

Summary

A new position has opened for a Sales Specialist (Business Development) to join a leading leisure business from their Andover office. The company have offices across the UK, Europe and the US and they continue to expand their impressive global presence.

The company are on track to achieve impressive revenue growth this year, and are now looking for a driven and customer-focused professional to spearhead the business development across their expanding portfolio of clients.

As a member of the team you will receive a competitive salary with uncapped commission, private medical, early Friday finish and the opportunity to travel to networking trade shows.

The business are genuine leader in their fields, and the products often sell themselves. Average deal size is £250K, but this is growing as the overal company revenue. They do have a strong progression pathway for this role and the earning potential is strong.

The Role

The ideal candidate will be a driven individual who is eager to search for new opportunities, cultivate strong client relationships, and drive new and existing project wins. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.

The role will include a mix of outbound sales techniques across warmer and colder prospects, and can have an international reach.

  • Drive outbound business development activity
  • Manage and update the CRM
  • Research, identify and pursue new opportunities
  • Lead virtual and in-person client meetings
  • Prepare and deliver presentations
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Attend international and UK based client meetings and trade shows
  • Pass new opportunities across to the sales team
  • Conduct negotiations to secure profitable partnerships
