Location: Andover

Job Type: Temporary & Permanent

Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-1pm

Salary: Negotiable (DOE)

Start Date: ASAP

We are supporting a long‑established precision engineering organisation in recruiting an experienced Multi‑Axis Setter/Operator to join their expanding team. With significant investment in new machinery and continued business growth, this is an excellent permanent opportunity for a skilled engineer seeking long‑term development and job security.

• Set and operate 3/5‑axis CNC milling machines
• Complete full machine setup, tool selection, and work‑holding
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Use precision measuring equipment to ensure component accuracy
• Work to tight tolerances and strict deadlines
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to maintain high standards
• Maintain a "Right First Time" approach to all work

• Previous experience as a CNC Setter/Operator
• Skilled in 3/5‑axis milling
• Strong ability to read technical drawings
• Confident using precision measuring instruments
• Self‑motivated, reliable, and able to work independently

• Experience with Fanuc controls
• Knowledge of metallic materials
• CAM experience (Edgecam or similar)
