Production Operative; Paint Plant

Paint Plant Production Operative – Production Department, Watt Close, Andover.

This role works in a busy paint plant environment, supporting the production process by preparing, handling, inspecting and delivering painted components in line with quality, safety and environmental standards.

Hours: Monday – Thursday 05:45 – 14:00, Friday 05:45 – 12:15 (15% shift allowance). Permanent contract.

• Work in accordance with Company Health & Safety policies, safe systems of work, and standard operating procedures.
• Bung components as per drawings and hang/unload components on relevant jigs.
• Inspect finished work against quality criteria to ensure required standards are met.
• Deliver finished parts to designated locations using part‑specific trolleys or bins.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards and comply with environmental requirements.

• Previous experience working in a modern manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to integrate into an existing team.
• Commitment to cross‑functional training and flexibility within the role.
• Proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Understanding of Continuous Improvement processes.
