A well‑regarded secondary school in Andover is seeking a Food Technology Teacher to join their Design & Technology department on a part‑time basis. This maternity cover will run from April until December, with teaching responsibilities across KS3 and KS4.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging, practical and theory‑based Food Technology lessons, maintain high standards of classroom management, and contribute positively to the wider department.

• Plan and deliver high‑quality Food Technology lessons across KS3-KS4
• Prepare practical resources and maintain a safe, hygienic learning environment
• Assess, track and report on student progress
• Contribute to curriculum development within the DT department
• Support the school's ethos, behaviour policies and safeguarding procedures
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency and high standards

• Supportive and well‑structured DT department
• Strong leadership nuits focus on staff wellbeing
• Good behaviour and a positive learning culture
• Well‑equipped Food Technology facilities

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge and practical skills
• Ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
