Traveling Industrial Mechanic

D.H. Griffin Contracting is currently seeking a qualified Industrial Mechanic. Qualified applicants must be self-motivated and willing to put in the effort to be successful. Qualifications include but are not limited to:

• Work well with coworkers and customers
• Safely operate all equipment and position for repair or maintenance tasks in an industrial setting
• Assist lead tech(s) in dismantling and reassembling equipment, using hoists and hand tools, pre-cleaning equipment, and preparing equipment for repair or maintenance
• Assist co-workers in various facets of equipment upkeep and graphics applications
• Responsible for tools and equipment

• 2 years of industrial experience preferred
• Solid knowledge of industrial mechanic hand tools
• Basic understanding of simple industrial electrical systems
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 70 lbs
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
