Freight Flow Associate

Base Pay Range

$19.00/hr – $27.00/hr

Freight Flow Associate at Sam’s Club. Responsible for managing the movement, storage, and organization of merchandise within the facility, operating forklifts and pallet jacks safely, and providing excellent member service.

• Comply with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely, following company standards and guidelines.
• Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, and customers.
• Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies; manage inventory flow and maintain required paperwork.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions.
• Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following spotting procedures, and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Maintain sales floor and merchandising presentation per company policies, including zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, and ensuring promotional displays.
• Assist with club pickup orders, staging, and auditing for accuracy.
• Handle inventory tasks: track goods, maintain in‑stock levels, and report poor inventory practices.
• Proactively identify customer needs for technology services, model proper use, and maintain equipment.
• Demonstrate leadership expectations: respect individuals, act with integrity, serve the customer, and strive for excellence.

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
