Responsibilities
- Decorate cakes following established guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation and production of food items.
- Work closely with the culinary team to ensure high-quality food is served.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Maintain correct inventory levels for cakes, frosting, fillings, layers, and related decorating/packaging supplies.
- Check all in-process and final product dates to ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation and quality.
- Monitor cooler and freezer temperatures and immediately notify management of any issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service.
This position may require some lifting. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow.
