• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in this state
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute care preferred
• Knowledge of Infection Prevention, Quality Assurance (QA), and QAPI programs
• Strong understanding of CMS regulations and state survey processes

The RN Quality & Infection Control Nurse is responsible for leading and overseeing the facility’s Quality Assurance and Infection Prevention programs
. This role ensures ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while promoting resident safety and clinical excellence.

• Lead the facility’s Infection Prevention & Control Program
• Oversee and coordinate the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program
• Conduct infection surveillance, tracking, trending, and reporting
• Implement infection control policies and outbreak response plans
• Monitor antibiotic stewardship and clinical quality indicators
• Prepare for and participate in state and federal surveys
• Educate staff on infection prevention practices and quality initiatives
• Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to drive continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with current federal, state, and local regulatory standards
