Job Description:
Techtronic Industries Power Equipment, a subsidiary of TTI, has an opening in its Anderson, SC office for a Calibration Technician that will be responsible and accountable for managing the calibrated equipment workload in support of product development programs and mature products.

Job FunctionResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Works with minimal supervision, self-starter that takes ownership of assigned duties. Tests, calibrates, adjusts, and maintains electromechanical mechanical pneumatic hydro mechanical and pressure type measuring and indicating instruments to conform to set standards. Sets up calibration sequences methods and procedures according to detailed specifications drawings and requirements. Follow automated procedures instructions and help develop new procedures.
May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
- Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System, CMMS, to document work activity, experience with Fluke’s Met Cal software would be a plus.
- Conducts complex configuration tests and interprets schematics and testing procedures.
- Provide detailed documentation of all calibration, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and/or equipment manuals to perform work.
- Performs internal weekly checks and documents activities.
- Responsible for day-to-day workload management.
- Troubleshoot, evaluate and calibrate equipment as identified by management.
- Manages outsourced calibration and repair.
- Writes technical documentation for new and existing applications, methods, and procedures.
- Maintains ISO
17025 documentation related to calibrated equipment - Other miscellaneous functions as assigned by management.
- Willing to learn and open to direction and suggestions.
- Automated procedure programming or willing to learn.
- Experience working in a 17025 accredited lab.
- Ask questions when in doubt, take responsibility for learning what needs to be done.
* Target Salary Range: $65,000 - $95,000*
