Section Leader - Manufacturing Department

Overview

Glen Raven, a global leading manufacturer of performance fabrics, is currently seeking a Production Operations Section Leader for a 12 hour night shift position in our manufacturing facility. The hours for Section Leader roles are either 7pm-7am, 7:30pm-7:30am, or 8pm-8am, working on a NON-ROTATING 2-2-3 Schedule.

• Lead Daily Operations in the department for the entire shift team and coordinate with other departments as required.
• Follow company policies and safe work practices to prevent injury to yourself and other associates.
• Immediately correct unsafe behaviors and immediately correct/report any unsafe work condition
• Immediately report any work related injury to your Department Manager
• Lead Shift Meetings as needed
• Take Responsibility to Manage and Delegate any tasks that need to be accomplished and do not have an owner

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a leadership and/or supervisory role is strongly preferred.
• Textile Manufacturing experience or General Manufacturing experience preferred.
• MS Office (Word, Outlook and Excel)
• A leader in Safety and Quality among peers.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to speak in a public setting.
• Ability to multi-task and handle varied manufacturing functions and priorities.
• Strong bias for action
