Shift: 7am-7pm 2-2-3

• Safely drive a forklift to stage material, load trucks, unload trucks and transfer material within the plant and within departments as needed.
• Keep safety at the forefront of the team’s thinking and approach to work.
• Communicate and ensure all safety procedures are strictly adhered to.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  Qualifications:
  
  Organization, dealing with complexity, time management, process improvement, safety management, forklift operation, inventory control, lifting.
• Assist to maintain a safe, well organized, FIFO (first in, first out) controlled warehouse per Pregis Best Practice.
• Maintain inventory by identifying and placing and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
• Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling and securing product in correct location.
• Be a reliable member of the team, always identifying and professionally communicating ways to improve the work environment.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Other responsibilities as directed or required.

• Ability to take coaching well and communicate respectfully with others.
• Promote positive teamwork culture.
• Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate with the team and during shift transition.
• Knowledgeable of safety requirements and guidelines in manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow standardized work instructions and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement culture.

• 1+ years of sit-down forklift experience.
• 1+ years of inventory control experience.
• Experience with Inventory Control/Warehouse Management software (ex. SAP) is a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).

• Exposure to moving equipment.
• Inside work.
• Heat may exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Humidity may exceed 80%.
• Noise may exceed 85 dB+.
• Personal Protective Equipment required.

• Frequent standing, stooping, sitting.
• Occasional lifting, pushing, pulling.
