OverviewJoin as a student in the Transmission Control Unit Assembly Area of the Automotive Electronics Division. This role is part of the manufacturing engineering quality team, working with high‑speed manufacturing equipment to produce the “brains” of automatic transmissions. You will interface with multiple levels of the department and help develop and implement new equipment and processes.
Responsibilities- Identify, specify, order, and implement new equipment and processes in cooperation with departmental engineering and technical resources.
- Develop and maintain production documentation to improve throughput and quality.
- Investigate and solve root causes of manufacturing process problems.
- Identify and lead projects to improve cost, quality, delivery, utilization, and safety of manufacturing processes to meet key workshop metrics.
- Apply Bosch Production System principles to the value stream to support product team, continuous improvement process, and plant goals.
- Assist with organizational initiatives and develop effective working relationships across all levels and educational backgrounds.
- Solve problems with minimal direction, applying guidelines and interpreting information as needed.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship from Bosch.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Able to complete multiple rotations (Spring 2026 & Summer 2026; Fall 2026 not available).
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Hourly wage: $23.00

Housing stipend of $3,000 per rotation for co‑ops whose school is >50 miles from Bosch Anderson;
sign‑on bonus of $500 for those not receiving the stipend.
