Mission:

Maintain equipment and processes in compliance with customer and OPmobility requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Start up, shut down, blow molding machine
  • Start up, shut down, Flex cell, SCR equipment, Prototype equipment within facility
  • Maintain blow mold machine
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Material Handling System
  • Troubleshoot process problems and provide documentation of actions performed
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Other responsibilities as assigned, including:
    • Optimize processes
    • Implement continuous improvement solutions to reduce scrap and improve efficiency
    • Appropriately manage downtime events
    • Perform daily 5S and housekeeping tasks

Lockout Tag-Out:

  • Full understanding of the LOTO concepts, and its application
  • Method, devices, and instructions used to lockout/tagout machinery
  • Choice of appropriate level of LOTO (when we have to apply complete LOTO, or partial LOTO or “door locked” only)
  • Able to perform risk analysis before LOTO and work performed inside machines
  • Ability to train and coach other technicians on LOTO and safe work practices
  • Responsible to advise when standard work instructions are not covering a necessary specific activity
  • Responsible to check the correct application of LOTO, in line with procedures
  • Seek guidance from EHS Specialist for any concerns regarding LOTO

Other Requirements:

  • Authority and responsibility to stop production when a quality or safety issue arises
  • Work requires walking, talking, seeing, hearing, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
  • Work requires working under high and low temperatures at certain times
