Team Coordinator – IMPB CEB (1st Shift)
Job DescriptionThe Team Coordinator assists the supervisor in operating a department area so that the supervisor can focus on people rather than daily workflow issues. The Team Coordinator primarily ensures continuous production flow by relieving bottlenecks, filling in positions as needed, identifying part/resource shortages, finding solutions, and notifying supervisors when solutions are required. The role facilitates implementation of Lean Manufacturing processes and requests non‑personnel assistance from other departments by completing work orders and engaging engineering and SFA assistance.
Other reasonable manufacturing duties may be assigned.
- Reduce production bottlenecks on the manufacturing product line.
- Address and correct workflow issues.
- Learn all positions and fill in as needed.
- Identify part and resource shortages and provide solutions.
- Communicate situations to supervisors, engineers, and managers as appropriate.
- High School graduate or GED with minimum Work Keys scores for the position.
- 4+ years of experience.
- Previous lead position experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to lift between 50 and 100 pounds assisted.
- Ability to learn and use hand tools required for all positions within the area (general work tools, pneumatic, hydraulic, brazing, wiring tools, forklifts, etc.).
- Effective leadership of flow and teamwork.
- Ability to work long hours and a variety of shifts as needed.
- Ability to learn and utilize a materials tracking system.
- Work in environments with temperatures occasionally above 100 °F or below 32 °F.
- 10% travel may be required depending on product line needs.
