Activity Director

Overview

Elite Day Center of Anderson is accepting applications for an Activity Director to develop and manage a comprehensive activity and wellness program tailored for our members. The Activity Director will be responsible for designing a monthly events calendar, ensuring that all activities comply with DPH and DHHS regulations.

• Research and liaise with local volunteers and resources to introduce engaging programs and speakers to the center, as well as organizing safe and enjoyable outings for our members.
• Collaborate with Member Assistants to execute daily activity and wellness programming, oversee the activity care plan, and maintain daily documentation and quarterly progress reports for each member.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred experience working with elderly or disabled individuals
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain it)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Clean background check and drug test
• Physically willing and capable of assisting members with personal care tasks

• Job Type: Full-time
• Hours:
  
  Monday–Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
• Weekly pay with benefit eligibility after 30 days of employment
• No weekends or holidays
