Senior Phlebotomist

Job Description :

Pay Range: $19.95hr - $22.17hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Strong customer focus and communication skills.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and follow established procedures.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver s license, if applicable.

• 1 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Patient Service Center experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
• Collect and process forensic and clinical specimens following established procedures.
• Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient signature post-venipuncture to ensure proper specimen labeling.
• Maintain required records and documentation with a high level of accuracy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors with a focus on process excellence and confidentiality.

• Phlebotomy and specimen processing.
• Patient interaction and customer service.
• Data entry and basic computer skills.
• Multitasking in a high-volume environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in specific states).
