VP​/Director of Finance

Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced VP/Director of Finance to join our client's team in Anderson, South Carolina. This role is pivotal in overseeing financial strategies, ensuring compliance, and driving operational excellence within a textile manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial planning and analysis, coupled with a collaborative and strategic mindset.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate financial statements, management reports, and lender compliance documentation.

- Develop and maintain reporting systems to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

- Manage lender relationships and ensure compliance with all associated requirements.

- Create and implement strategies for cash flow management and working capital optimization.

- Monitor cash balances and forecasts to ensure financial stability.

- Direct departmental workflows, oversee project management, and provide insights through ad hoc analyses.

- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws and regulations, maintaining full compliance.

- Execute and supervise tax strategies, ensuring alignment with applicable laws.

- Oversee insurance programs and manage relationships with providers.

- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful financial audits.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

- At least 10 years of experience in finance, with a focus on manufacturing.

- Proven track record as a Controller, managing comprehensive financial reporting cycles.

- Expertise in financial modeling and strategic planning.

- Prior experience in a VP Finance role, including oversight of HR, benefits, legal, insurance, and administrative functions.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial results and identify key business drivers.

- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of an executive team.

- Efficient and adaptable individual, committed to achieving goals and meeting deadlines.
