Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Departmental Secretary to join the Specialist Diabetes Nursing Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and friendly individual to join the team to provide day-to-day support.
Contract and hoursThis is a fixed-term post for 12 months. This is a part-time post of 30 hours per week with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities- Administratively support the team by managing the booking of appointments
- Answer telephone queries
- Typing clinical letters
- Other duties as required
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of using IT systems (Microsoft Office, Excel, Trak Care & DRAGON)
- Ability to prioritise daily workload to meet service demands
- Ability to deal with confidential information in a sensitive manner
- Excellent organisation and keyboard skills
- Confidence in using IT systems
