Anderson Center for Autism is seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Food Service Worker to support our kitchen and meal service operations. In this role, you will assist with food transport, maintain high sanitation and safety standards, and ensure dishware, equipment, and food transport containers are properly cleaned and sanitized. You will also load and deliver meals, verify and document food temperatures, and complete all required compliance documentation to ensure food safety.

Your work helps ensure meals are delivered safely, accurately, and on schedule.

Pay Range: $17.50 - $20.00 Hourly;

Responsibilities
  • Transport food to residences according to daily menus, ensuring all lunch items are properly placed in Cambros before delivery.
  • Load and deliver Cambros on schedule, ensuring meals maintain proper temperature, and verify and document food temperatures on production sheets.
  • Deliver groceries to residences as needed.
  • Keep the kitchen clean at all times, including sweeping and mopping after meals, removing garbage and cleaning containers regularly, and completing weekly cleaning assignments.
  • Clean and set dishware for each meal, and wash and sanitize all pots, dishware, and equipment used in meal preparation and service.
  • Clean the delivery truck daily to maintain sanitary conditions for food transport.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, transporting food items, and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to cleanliness, timeliness, and safety standards.
