• Identify, investigate, report, prevent, and control healthcare associated infections (HAIs) among patients and personnel.
• Institute collection of cultures and initiate isolation precautions under the authority of the Infection Control Committee.
• Assist with in‑service programs related to infection prevention and control.
• Attend to all employee work‑related injuries; recommend appropriate actions and communicate trends to the risk manager.
• Conduct pre‑employment medical screening tests and annual recurring screens.
• Serve as liaison to the worker’s compensation carrier for the facility.
• Develop and implement the hospital’s utilization review Sky plan.
Travel between Muncie and Greenfield as required.

• Current Indiana Registered Nurse Licensure (required)
• Quality or infection control experience (preferred)
• Minimum three (3) years supervisory experience in healthcare or one to three (1–3) years in infection control.
• Member of the Association of Practitioners of Infection Control and Epidemiology.
• Working knowledge of microbiology, epidemiology, infectious disease, aseptic techniques, and current best practices.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Minimum one‑year experience in utilization review.
• Demonstrated leadership and management ability with 2–4 years nursing administration experience.
• Fluent in English communication, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Travel between Muncie and Greenfield is required.
