POSITION OVERVIEW

Our Anderson, Indiana production factory is a state‑of‑the‑art facility and distribution center with cutting‑edge technology and advanced systems designed with sustainability in mind. Innovative energy recovery processes, environmental controls, and recyclable product packaging components made from food‑safe materials are just some of the programs we’ve implemented to support Nestlé’s ambition for zero environmental impact by 2030. SCHEDULE

This position will require working on a 2/2/3, 12‑hour shift schedule. The schedule is from 6:00 am‑6:00 pm. The schedule pattern is summarized below:

  • Week 1 – Sun Work, Mon Off, Tue Off, Wed Work, Thu Work, Fri Off, Sat Off
  • Week 2 – Sun Off, Mon Work, Tue Work, Wed Off, Thu Off, Fri Work, Sat Work
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU

  • This position will start on a Monday–Friday day shift schedule and eventually transition to a continuous operations schedule (24‑hour/7‑day). Overtime and weekend work may be required to meet critical deadlines.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Execute real‑time troubleshooting and problem‑solving with maintenance/operations team and follow‑up on issues to ensure they are completed and that the issues are addressed. Participate in preventative maintenance completion as needed.
  • Support maintenance troubleshooting and line maintenance as needed.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all electrical and automation platforms, equipment and unplanned machine stops.
  • Analyze performance data to improve electrical and automation equipment unplanned stops.
  • Participate in Pillar Activities, AWG, MWG, IWG, and maintaining KPIs.
REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree/technical certificate in related field and/or 3–5 years of equivalent experience. Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience with automation systems for building, facility, packaging, utility, and process controls preferred.
  • Experience with PLC software – Studio 5000 and/or Siemens software – TIA Portal.
  • Experience with HMI systems, preferably Allen‑Brady Factory Talk View or Aveva (Wonderware).
SKILLS
  • Troubleshoot PLCs, their control panels and associated hardware.
  • Troubleshoot HMI systems.
  • Assist with commissioning of PLC and HMI programs.
  • Troubleshoot and configure variable‑frequency drive motors, servo motors.
  • Interpret electrical schematics and complex safety circuit networks.
  • Troubleshoot electrical circuits from motor starter to load, including three‑phase 480 VAC, 120 VAC, and 24 VDC control and power systems.
  • Basic troubleshooting of messaging from production floor equipment to‑and‑from the networked systems (historian).
