Position SummaryAs a Maintenance Supervisor, you will plan, organize, and control the maintenance and repair of the production factory during your assigned shift and work group. You will ensure the maintenance department provides the highest quality of service to the plant, minimizing downtime, supporting safety and sanitation, and encouraging innovative solutions. You must develop and lead people to achieve plant objectives and drive continuous improvement through TPM activities.
WorkSchedule
12‑hour night shift, 2‑2‑3 pattern. Night shift occurs from 6:00 pm to 6:30 am. Schedule pattern:
Week 1 – Work, Off, Off, Work, Work, Off, Off. Week 2 – Off, Work, Work, Off, Off, Work, Work.
- Provide technical guidance to team leaders and shift team members. Assign work tasks and monitor completion. Ensure proper tools, supplies, and equipment. Promote safe work practices and resolve operational issues.
- Ensure company policies, maintenance and quality procedures, and GMPs are understood and followed. Maintain compliance with HACCP, NQS, SSOP, and FTQ.
- Achieve safety and productivity goals. Manage controllable costs during assigned shifts.
- Manage work orders using SAP and established shift handoff sheets.
- Create a positive, productive environment where each associate can fully contribute and be valued.
- Train and develop associates. Provide coaching and one‑on‑one contact.
- Keep team members apprised of administrative matters, policies, and performance through meetings and contact.
- Draft procedures, schedule team members in Kronos, and manage supply and maintenance requests.
- Reduce environmental impact and waste.
- Drive continuous improvement using NCE and other tools.
Minimum Education Level
- Knowledge of food safety and regulatory requirements for food safety and hygienic engineering.
- Support and comply with Nestlé programs and policies, including affirmative action goals, SHE strategies, corporate citizenship initiatives, NCE, TPM, GMPs, and safety policies.
- Meet requirements related to NQMS (Nestle Quality Management System) and ISO standards for Quality, Food Safety, Environmental Compliance, and Occupational Health and Safety.
- Three+ years related experience in increasingly challenging and responsible positions with demonstrated leadership competencies in a food, beverage or manufacturing environment.
- Superior verbal and written communication, leadership and planning skills.
- Strong computer preference for SAP/AMM experience, problem solving and coaching skills.
- Able to understand, clarify, and suggest new opportunities for complex problems.
