Responsibilities- Work in the Cage front window/chip bank and other employee service areas; also in other departmental areas as assigned.
- Perform Table Fills and Table credits, high-volume EGD jackpots, issuance of venue banks, and employee transactions in a courteous, accurate, and timely manner.
- Compute all monetary transactions; maintain accurate transaction and auditable balancing practices.
- Handle general check cashing, cash advances, casino credit (CR) transactions, sports book transactions, and other casino cashier transactions.
- Assist in the issuance and payment of casino credit instruments.
- Maintain strict adherence to department policies and procedures to preserve the integrity of cash operations.
- Maintain strong knowledge of Title 31 requirements.
- Replenish and balance ticket redemption machines and perform related duties.
- Convey a consistently professional, friendly, and courteous manner in interactions with all guests and employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED plus equivalent working experience and knowledge.
- Strong mathematical ability with a capacity to work in a physically demanding, high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency reading general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations; ability to write simple reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Effective presentation skills and the ability to respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Competence in mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, plane and solid geometry, trigonometry; and application of fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form while handling both abstract and concrete variables.
- Capability to obtain and maintain a license from the Indiana Gaming Commission.
The role requires standing up to 8 hours; walking; using hands for finger, handle, or feel tasks; reaching with hands and arms; climbing or balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; and speaking or hearing. Occasional lifting or moving up to 25 pounds is required. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WorkEnvironment
The work environment includes exposure to potential electrical shock, moving mechanical parts, occasional outside weather conditions, and high noise levels. Working in a smoking environment is required.
