Join our dynamic team in Anderson, Indiana, where we manufacture engine and chassis components for the heavy trucking industry. We are experiencing significant growth and are seeking an experienced CNC Manufacturing Engineer to support our expansion efforts.
Responsibilities- Work hands‑on on the floor with projects and programs from new business (40%).
- Troubleshoot machine issues and implement process improvements to maintain uninterrupted production (30%).
- Engage in desk work, programming, and drawing using Master Cam and Solidworks (30%).
- Participate in daily huddles with the engineering team to coordinate efforts.
- Develop new customer parts from concept to completion, including tooling definition and machine programming.
- Make plant layout adjustments and move equipment as needed to accommodate new projects.
- Occasionally travel for up to a week to our Pennsylvania plant.
- 7+ years of experience with metal machining in a production environment.
- Proficiency in CNC programming, with a strong preference for Master Cam.
- Ability to fully set up CNC machines, focusing on mills (75%) and lathes (25%).
- Experience in conducting root‑cause analysis for process improvements.
Skills & Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline is preferred.
Work a regular shift from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as project deadlines approach. The shop is temperature‑controlled with room for expansion, and the office is collaborative. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range is $43.00 – $52.88 per hour.
