Must-Have:
- 5 years of recent experience with Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum/Mother-baby care, transition care of newborns, and OB triage.

Description:

Performs plan of care interventions.
Includes medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care appropriately.
Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patients and/or families.
Provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Acts as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Circulates during cesarean sections and assists the physician as needed during deliveries.
Follows appropriate policies during the recovery and care of surgical patients.
Attends the neonatal station in the cesarean section suite and completely assesses the neonate post-delivery.
Attends fetal monitoring certification classes every two years.
Attends S.T.A.B.L.E certification classes if offered and is NRP certified.
Identifies necessary information to be communicated to physicians and patients.
