Highlights:
Provide comprehensive care across LDRP, Mother-Baby, and transition care of newborns
Circulate during cesarean sections and attend deliveries, assisting physicians as needed
Complete neonatal assessment post-delivery in the C-Section suite
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and family support
Participate in ongoing education including fetal monitoring and neonatal resuscitation certification
Serve as patient advocate ensuring physical and emotional well-being throughout care continuum
Requirements:
Active Alabama RN license or Compact State RN license
Minimum 5 years recent experience in LDRP/Mother-Baby, transition care of newborns, and OB triage
Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications (must be through American Heart Association)
Fetal monitoring certification (renewed every two years)
S.T.A.B.L.E. certification preferred
