Verovian Healthcare Recruitment Agency seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Medical-Surgical unit for the night shift in Andalusia, Alabama.

As part of the Med Surg team, you will care for patients with various medical conditions, monitoring their recovery and providing high-quality patient care throughout the night. You will be an essential member of our healthcare team, ensuring patients receive personalized care and attention during their hospital stay.

Job specification

• Assess and monitor patients during the night shift, providing appropriate care and interventions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and care for post-surgical patients.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and support.
• Document patient progress and report any significant changes to physicians and other care providers.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding their treatment plans and post-discharge care.

Candidate requirements

• Current RN license in Alabama.
• 1-2 years of recent Med Surg nursing experience is preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle the challenges of night shift care.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
