Airgas is currently looking for a CDL B Microbulk Driver w/ X endorsements to support our Nor Pac Region. In this role, you will be dedicated to supporting roughly 15-20 deliveries of CO2 products and related supplies to established customers along assigned routes while supporting each unit to ensure that it is operating excellently and effectively.
Responsibilities- Support the transfer of product from the Airgas truck to the customer tank through hose hook up.
- Carefully review vehicles before and after use according to DOT and company maintenance checklists.
- Loading Microbulk tanks and filling customer-owned Microbulk tanks as assigned.
- Help maintain DOT, SAFECOR, and Airgas vehicle documents, helping our team stay accurate and compliant.
- Help keep the route truck in safe working order and ensure that routine and required maintenance occurs on a timely basis.
- Valid Class A CDL or B CDL with HAZMAT, tanker & Airbrake endorsements
- Maintain appropriate Alaska driver's license, medical card & endorsements
- No more than two (2) traffic convictions: OR two (2) at-fault accident in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years
- No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years
- Must be able to work in a drug-free environment
- Be able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment
- Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months
- 2 years of route driver experience
- 1 year of tanker experience
