RYA Operations Coordinator (Ryan Air, Inc.)

The Operation Coordinator will primarily facilitate and maintain new technology within the Flight Operations and Maintenance departments. The Coordinator directly reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for coordinating flights according to company flight release parameters while facilitating new technology.

• Assist in training, service, and maintenance of software newly acquired or directed for use.
• Act as point of contact in software integration.
• Perform regular audits, run reports, and conduct data sweeps to ensure Part 135 compliance.
• Review company flight release parameters with pilot‑in‑command (PIC) and Operations Agent to ensure parameters are met.
• Assist in initiating, following, or cancelling a flight in accordance with FAR Part 135.77 under the direction of the Director of Operations.
• Work with the Technical Records Clerk to obtain proper data for tracked maintenance items and fill in for the Clerk when absent.
• Work with Operations to weave maintenance into flight schedules.
• Expected to work in other areas when Operation Coordination duties are met.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Maintains Operations Agent qualification.
• Must be able to communicate with different departments and levels effectively.
• Ability to use the computer to create calendars and spreadsheets for planning.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to take directions and be flexible.

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Maintenance Planning or Scheduling Experience preferred.
• Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, or sit at a computer for up to 8–10 hours a day.
• Must pass a ten‑year security background check to obtain an airport SIDA badge.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a security background check.
• Must pass a DOT/FAA drug test and be subject to random testing.
