Department of Family and Community Services, Office of Children's Services (OCS) is recruiting for full-time Social Services Program Officer located in Anchorage or Juneau, Alaska.

What you will be doing

The Social Services Program Officer is part of a dynamic team in the Office of Children’s Services State Office. This role oversees statewide evaluation programs, including Administrative Reviews, Case Reviews, staff and consumer surveys, and analysis of systemic factors required by federal standards. The SSPO ensures child welfare services meet state and federal quality standards by evaluating the work of social workers and supervisors through rigorous review methods.

The position leads policy development, procedures, and implementation for these evaluation programs.

Working environment you can expect

This position is located at our Anchorage or Juneau Office. Our Anchorage office is centrally located in Midtown, providing easy access to all of Anchorage. Our Juneau office is in the Goldstein Building in downtown Juneau. It’s conveniently near restaurants, shops, and the Downtown Transit Center for easy commuting.
